Mirsaid Mirshakar, Tajik writer:
The name of Gabdulla Tukay, the great son of the Tatar nation, is very important for the Tajik people too. He served as a bridge connecting great thinkers of Russia with young, just woken up intellectuals of Central Asia, including Tajikistan.
He is forever beloved and forever alive poet of our people.
